JM Eisenman

J. M. Eisenman’s musical, “Tevye” was chosen to be presented at the Stages 2005 Festival at the Theatre Building Chicago and is presently under consideration for a Summer 2009 production in Toronto. Jim’s one-act play, “For Better or Worse” was recently performed at the NoHo Arts Center in North Hollywood, California. His musical (lyrics, co-book), “Henry & Hyde”, written with Thomas Adams, was produced at the Celebration Theatre in Los Angeles. A ten-minute version of “Henry & Hyde” was chosen for presentation at the Short & Sweet + Song 2008 Festival in Sydney, Australia. He has been a member of the Academy of New Musical Theatre and, while at the workshop, co-wrote the one-act musical, “Another Candle,” also with Thomas Adams . Additionally, Tom and Jim have written numerous pop. country and rhythm and blues songs. Their song “The Sea of Change” was recorded by artist Ronee Martin and won awards in the Billboard Magazine Songwriting Contest and the “Heal L.A.” Songwriting Contest. In addition, Jim has won awards in the American Songwriting Contest for his lyrics.

Thomas Adams

Thomas Adams' (music, co-book, additional lyrics) most recent musical, “Tevye,” (written with J.M. Eisenman) premiered in a studio production at the Stages 2005 festival of New Musicals at Theatre Building Chicago, to glowing reviews. “Tevye” was also seen in Los Angeles at the El Portal Theatre in a workshop production starring Jim Brochu (winner of the Ovation Award in L.A. for “The Zero Hour”) in October of 2006, and is presently under consideration for a Summer 2009 production in Toronto.

Tom also composed music, added additional lyrics and co-wrote the book for “The Freaks Club” (with lyricist/co-bookwriter MK Wolfe). That musical was featured at the 2001 Stages Festival of New Musicals in Chicago. His musical “Henry and Hyde” (with J.M. Eisenman) received a production at the Celebration Theater in Los Angeles in 2000. It will be seen at the Short Sweet + Song 2008 Festival in Sydney, Australia. He also composed the music for Shirley Hilliard's musical, "Charlie Love".

Tom is a member of the Academy of New Musical Theatre in Los Angeles. (ANMT was formerly known as the Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop.)
